The president of the Centro Giovani Calciatori Alessandro Palagi makes the balance at the end of the 62nd edition of the Viareggio Cup 2010.

The last hooray bianconero still echoes in the Stadio dei Pini “Torquato Bresciani” and for Alessandro Palagi, the CGC president, starts already the 62nd edition balance. ‹‹We're more than satiefied of how it went the tournament. We reached ,as organizing company, all the goals we fixed, starting from the great media feedback. The new Viareggio Cup website had more than 1.700.000 visitors, an incredible result, that in any case we scheduled. We have to thank the Rai that broadcasted nineteen matches and gave with its commentators an excellent service for the tournament and the soccer fonds. Everyone lived the base of soccer closely, the best part of the show, the pure one››. An high level big-final:‹‹Juventus won, but Empoli proved to be a great team. Good match and great public as always in the big-finals. I'm only sorry for the foreig clubs could not oppose as we expected, as for the potentialities of many of them. In any case rhi all proves our soccer values at every level››. The serie D representative arrived in the semifinal: ‹‹It's a good message for the professional soccer. Also among the Dilettanti there are young talents that in perspective can be useful for all italian soccer››. Thanks and goodbye: ‹‹Thanks and goodbye to everyone.
